Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Ekvarna (a unit of RKRN, "we") collects when you use this website or buy from us, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to sell and deliver your order and to answer your questions.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and the items you buy.
• When you create an account: your name, email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash), and optionally your phone and address so checkout can be filled in for you.
• When you contact us: your name, email, phone (if given) and your message.
• Payments: you pay on Cashfree Payments' secure page. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login. We receive only the payment status and a reference.
• Technical data: our servers log the IP address and browser of each request, for security and to stop abuse.

Why we use it

• To process, ship and support your order, and to send the invoice and delivery updates.
• To run your account and sign you in, including one-time sign-in codes and password resets.
• To reply to your messages and complaints.
• To meet legal obligations such as GST invoicing and accounting records.
• To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Who we share it with

• Cashfree Payments, to take your payment.
• Courier and delivery partners, your name, phone and address, to deliver your order.
• Our email provider, to send order emails and sign-in codes.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.

Cookies and storage in your browser

We use what the shop needs to work: your basket, your sign-in, recent orders and your progress through checkout are kept in your browser's storage.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally eight years). Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw any consent you have given, or raise a complaint, by writing to info@rkrn.in. Some records (such as invoices) must be kept by law even if you ask for deletion. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, access to our systems is restricted, and payment details are handled only by Cashfree. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

Our shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

We will post any change on this page and update the date above.
